Currently, I am working as a medical and health sciences Editorial Reviewer at Cactus Communications Pvt. Ltd. I completed my PhD from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. With a decade of intensive research experience in microbiology and related subjects, I have a solid foundation in molecular biology and biochemistry procedures like protein purification, expression, PCR, cell culture techniques, and scientific publications. My doctoral research is based on the extraction and purification of protease inhibitor drugs extracted from marine yeast with significant anticancer, antioxidant, and antibacterial activity. I am skilled in proteomics, protein-protein docking, cancer biology, drug design, product development, and nanoparticle characterization. I also have hands-on experience in animal handling for toxicity studies and histopathological analysis, which enhances my skills as a biomedical researcher. Along with my research contributions, I had the appealing chance to mentor 10+ research projects conducted by M.Sc. students either individually or as part of a team, thereby fostering their academic development and nurturing their research abilities. Such experience, apart from enhancing my strong communication and leadership skills, also reflects my commitment to cultivating the next set of researchers in the discipline.
