As Operations Manager and Legal Lead at LAG Bura, I manage the full cycle of EU-funded rural development — from eligibility assessment and grant writing to cross-border delivery and regulatory reporting. I serve as the primary contact for nine rural municipalities, farming households, NGOs, and international partners across Croatia, Finland, Poland, and Ireland. I have managed portfolios exceeding €1M per programming period, consistently delivering 15% under budget. I do not just work with EU frameworks — I help shape them. As a Steering Committee Member of Youth in LEADER (ELARD), I contribute directly to CAP xxxxxxxxx policy dialogue alongside national paying agencies and EU institutions across all member states. My legal background — LL.B in European & Comparative Law (Sheffield), LL.M in Maritime Law (Lund) — means I read regulatory frameworks fluently: GDPR, EU funding rules, MARPOL, CAP, and emerging digital legislation. I operationalise them for non-specialist stakeholders rather than outsourcing interpretation. I am currently a Ph.D candidate Beyond policy, I bring a digital product lens. I am co-developing a pilot mobile health application to extend mental health services to rural communities — bringing technology thinking into the EU advocacy space. My research on rural telehealth, climate adaptation, and social services delivery is published by the EU Rural Pact.
