Adewale J. Lambo (PhD) has 16+ years R & D experience in biodegradation, bioenergy, environmental/petroleum microbiology, giochemistry, and biogeochemistry. He has supported and lead research on microbial sulfur cycling in oilfields, biogenic gas production in petroleum reservoirs and coal-bed methane fields, hydrogen sulfide removal in petroleum reservoirs, bio-treatment of petroleum contaminated soils and groundwater, and metal speciation in oilfields environment. His experience in these areas included Postdoctoral Research Fellow position with the Petroleum Microbiology Research Group at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and later with the Sub-surface Technology Group at ConocoPhillips, Houston, Texas. He has taught classes and organized conferences and seminar on environmental microbiology, petroleum microbiology, and environmental remediation. He has published multiple papers, as first author, in well-known scientific journals including Environmental Science & Technology, Journal of Applied Microbiology, Letters in Applied Microbiology, Society of Petroleum Engineers, and others. He also has two joint patents in biogenic gas production. He currently work as an independent consultant and continue to develop innovative technology in other areas of interest. He recently earned a patent on a technology that help perform on-site and off-site due diligence for real estate. He has a PhD in Microbiology/Cell Biology and a Masters of Environmental Science degrees. Adewale lives near Houston, Texas.
