I am an epidemiologist with 20 years of experience in public health. After completing an applied epidemiology fellowship with the Centers for Disease Control, I have conducted research on infectious diseases like HIV/STIs, malaria, Zika, dengue, and coronavirus. I have been the principal investigator on three international studies: Rapid Assessment of Zika Virus Awareness in Lima, Peru; Socioecological Factors Impacting Zika Virus Transmission in Lima, Peru; and Lived Experiences of Limeños During the COVID-19 Pandemic. I have expertise in developing, conducting, and reporting quantitative and qualitative research.
