With a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the Quantic School of Business, Akshay has a unique blend of technical skills and business immersion and has co-authored several top-notch research publications. Previously, he co-founded FalconBio, a drug delivery start-up creating 'smart bacteria', that could precisely localize and target solid tumors. As the CEO, he established partnerships with hospital conglomerates and global CROs through seed-round fundraising efforts by negotiating with prospective venture capitalists, government agencies, and angel investors at his first venture. From 2020 onwards, Akshay worked as an Alternative Protein SciTech specialist at the Good Food Institute India, creating a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs, researchers, and investors.
