I am a trained Bioinformatician with 8+ years of experience in Genomics data handling. I have extensively worked in the area of Cancer Genomics with a focus on Micrroarys and NGS data analysis. Domain Skills: -Experience in designing and annotations of microarray probes. -Worked on the extraction of Gene Expression, CGH and CGH+SNP microarray images using feature extraction tools. -Ability to interpret CGH data to identify aberrations (Indels) and their clinical significance. -Knowledge of the identification of LOH and UPD abnormalities using CGH+SNP microarrays. -Experience in NGS data analysis from alignment to interpretation. -Experience on tools like cutadapt, samtools, bedtools, BAQ caller, IGV. -NGS QC tools like FastQC and BAMView. I have developed a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Currently, 'learning' deep in the sea of data science !! Trying to find out ways to efficiently use the power of data science to solve problems in Lifesciences, Health Care, and Agriculture.
