I have a PhD in Social Sciences & Health (PhD, EHESS, 2020 jointly with Linköping University, Sweden) and am a member of CERTOP (Research Centre on Work, Organisation, Power), UMR-CNRS 5044. My areas of expertise are social approaches to health and food; body and embodiment; and science popularisation. My academic path followed between the United States, Russia, Sweden and France. I have initial training in communication studies (Purdue University) and after defending my PhD dissertation on health social movements in Russia, I joined CERTOP to study the articulation of lay knowledge and public health recommendations in food practices in France. My practice is interdisciplinary-oriented and inspired by science and technology studies (STS). I lean on ethnographic methods, in conjunction with key informant interviews, focus groups, and creative methods.
