I started out more than a decade ago as a military journalist. I have more than eight years experience working as a military journalist, public relations specialist, and editor. During that time I achieved my A.S. in Public Relations and B.S. in Psychology. Upon completing my service, I successfully completed my Masters in Social work where my studies concentrated on chronic homelessness among individuals with dual diagnoses and veterans with mental health issues. In my most recent years, I have been working on my personal writings. This has included blog writing and writing for a book I plan to publish. I also have a strong interest in energy work and holistic healing. I am skilled in AP and APA writing. I have vast knowledge in finding the message in writings, and then translating it for everyone to understand. Working in the military not only taught me timeliness and precision, but gave me the ability to compute jargon from subject matter experts to stories for the target audience to not only understand, but also enjoy.
