I am a microbiome scientist and bioinformatics consultant with a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of New South Wales, Australia (2016). I specialize in the analysis and interpretation of microbiome data, integrating statistical modeling, ecological theory, and computational biology to uncover meaningful biological patterns. Through my company Microbialytics, I provide high-quality bioinformatics and statistical analysis services for microbiome projects across academic and applied research. My expertise covers 16S, ITS, and shotgun metagenomic data processing, diversity and differential abundance analyses, and integration of microbial data with host or clinical metadata. I have extensive experience collaborating on large-scale longitudinal studies, including the Environmental Determinants of Islet Autoimmunity (ENDIA) cohort at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI, Australia), where I investigate temporal microbiome dynamics in women with and without Type 1 Diabetes and their offspring.
