I am a second-year Bioinformatics student at NUST with hands-on experience in precision medicine, cancer research, and computational drug design. I am currently conducting research at two labs—the Computational Drug Design Lab under Dr. Ishrat Jabeen focusing on personalized oncology, and the Cancer Biology Research Group working on drug repurposing through biological regulatory network analysis. I am a co-author on a peer-reviewed BMJ Public Health publication and am actively contributing to a systematic review from inception including PROSPERO registration, screening, data extraction, and writing. My research skills span literature review, evidence synthesis, database navigation (NCBI, GEO, PubMed), critical appraisal, and scientific writing to journal standards. I bring technical proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas), SQL, and basic R, alongside expertise in bioinformatics concepts including network pharmacology, Boolean modelling, and drug repurposing. I am detail-oriented, communicate clearly, and am available for flexible project-based research support including literature reviews, PRISMA screening, data extraction, and manuscript editing.
