I am an academic, researcher, computer scientist, and entrepreneur with a robust educational background and extensive experience across academia and industry. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Real-Time Systems) and an M.Eng. in Computer Systems and Software Engineering, both from the University of York, UK. My primary research focus is the timing analysis of real-time systems, particularly Worst-Case Execution-Time (WCET) analysis. Over the years, I have led or contributed to numerous research projects involving WCET analysis techniques, including parametric and early-time analysis, model-based WCET, composability in component-based systems, code positioning, and timing model identification using evolutionary algorithms and machine learning. Additionally, my research has expanded into power-efficient FPGA architectures, GIS-based crowd control solutions, and neural network modeling of industrial corrosion. I have been a principal investigator on several funded research projects totaling over 5 million SAR (~1.3 million USD), including projects on the timing analysis of multicore systems and dynamic analysis using multidimensional execution traces. These projects were funded by the Saudi National Science, Technology, and Innovation Program (NSTIP) and SABIC. In academia, I serve as an Associate Professor at Saida University, where I teach a broad range of undergraduate courses such as Theory of Computation, Algorithms and Data Structures, Mobile Development, and Operating Systems. My teaching experience spans more than a decade, including my previous role at Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia where I also contributed to ABET accreditation and departmental development efforts. I have supervised and examined numerous bachelor’s and master’s capstone projects. Alongside my academic career, I am the founder and CEO of Infinity Computer Systems. I developed PrediWCET, a WCET analysis toolchain, and AmiMaths, a suite of intelligent educational tools for learning mathematics. These tools reflect my dual focus on cutting-edge real-time systems research and practical e-learning solutions. I am proficient in a wide array of programming languages (e.g., C, Java, Flutter, Python, Prolog), development tools, operating systems, and educational platforms. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, I bring a multilingual and multicultural approach to my professional endeavors.
