I’m a PhD-trained biomedical engineer and educator with over 20 years of experience advancing inclusive innovation in health, education, and global development. I hold adjunct faculty appointments in engineering at McMaster University and Queen’s University, where I lead research and teaching in equity-based design and student-centred learning. My consulting focuses on EDI, human-centred design, and curriculum development across secondary to post-graduate levels. I’ve contributed to interdisciplinary teams supported by NSERC, Genome Canada, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Academics Without Borders, and community organizations. I bring deep expertise in design thinking, intercultural fieldwork, and experiential learning, and I’m currently seeking short-term projects that promote inclusive, impactful education and research.
