I am a public health researcher and epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, and evidence synthesis. I hold a PhD in Medical Sciences and two Master’s degrees in Public Health–related fields, with advanced training in epidemiology, biostatistics, survival analysis, and health policy research. My work spans epidemiology, disability and rehabilitation research, ageing and nutrition, infectious diseases, health systems, and social determinants of health. I have led and contributed to large-scale international research projects with organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), and academic institutions across Europe and Asia. I have extensive experience in systematic reviews, umbrella reviews, and meta-analyses, including protocol development (PRISMA, PROSPERO), literature screening, data extraction, risk of bias assessment, and synthesis for peer-reviewed journals and policy reports. To date, I have contributed to over 14 scientific publications, including high-impact journals, with several ongoing submissions. On the analytical side, I specialize in secondary data analysis of large observational and longitudinal datasets, including survey-weighted analyses, repeated measures, decomposition methods, PCA, and survival models (Cox proportional hazards). I am highly proficient in R and experienced in handling complex survey designs, missing data, and harmonized multi-country datasets such as SHARE. Beyond academic outputs, I regularly support policy-oriented research, translating evidence into actionable recommendations, technical reports, and briefing notes for governments and international agencies. I have also conducted stakeholder consultations, workshops, and capacity-building activities in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings. I work comfortably across the full research lifecycle, from study design and ethics applications to analysis, writing, peer review, and dissemination.
