プロフィール概要

Freshly graduated master student in Plant biotechnology with specialization in molecular plant breeding & phytopathology. I have received specific training in proposal writing, as well as in thesis and scientific report writing. Why should you hire me? I do have a unique background that combines biochemistry and plant biotechnology. Additionally, I am experienced in microbiology techniques. As you can see, my scientific interests are many and divided into different fields. That gives me an advantage when researching and writing about interdisciplinary projects. As for the writing aspect, I believe adequate audience-targeted scientific pieces are essential for science communication. That led me to improve my scientific writing skills by, among other things, following a course titled "Proposal writing", in which I had to write a proposal following official guidelines on fungal effector proteins. Apart from that, I have written my own master thesis, for which I got a 9 out of 10, and have proofread and edited several reports from bachelor and master students. The type of work I offer: - Manuscript writing on (plant) biotechnology, microbiology and biochemistry-related topics. - Scientific writing, more particularly review articles, blog articles and grant proposals. - Editing and proofreading academic and scientific documents. - Literature search and reference organisation. - Designing of scientific figures for grant proposals and scientific publications (e.g. graphical abstracts). What I may lack in experience, I do have in motivation. I am a perfectionist by nature, which translates into my work. If you give me a chance, you will not regret it!
