15+ years of experience investigating the behavior of video game players and the psychological and perceptual impact of immersive media via quantitative and qualitative methods. My research projects are characterized by innovation and impact beyond academia. Over the last years, I have been investigating sensory perceptions and involuntary phenomena via my area of expertise Game Transfer Phenomena (GTP). I have been awarded prices and research grants, including the prestigious European scientific Marie Curie postdoctoral grant. I am a prolific author of academic and popular science articles and poetry and an expert public speaker. My conferences include presentations at academic and developer conferences, cultural events about video games and events for young people. I have experience in all phases (design, analysis, reports) of research projects for academia, NGOs, schools, and industry. I have appeared on TV, radio, and podcasts since 1999 talking about the psychosocial implications of the Internet and video games. My studies had been featured in media worldwide. Multilingual (English, Spanish, Swedish).
