I have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on preclinical, translational research into pediatric, adolescent and young adult oncology. I am experienced at writing Medical/Scientific papers and am capable of relating my work to a laymen audience. My experiences have given me a broad background in vitro functional cellular assays and in vivo therapy experiments. In addition, I have experience with targeted therapy-based (combination) treatment options for oncology patients and have ample knowledge about cellular processes involved in tumorigenesis, such as receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, DNA damage response, cell cycle regulation . In addition, I have experience with GraphPad, SPSS and the creation of medical/scientific images using Adobe Illustrator. My laboratory experiences range from RNA to protein analysis with much experience with cell culture, (phospho)proteomic, apoptosis and cell cycle analysis.
