Anne Betty graduated with a bachelor’s honours degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bradford; and is both a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition & a Member of the Institute of Food Science & Technology. Having gained more than 18 years food industry experience across a variety of roles in both the manufacturing and retailing sectors, including being the former Nutritionist for the Co-op, Anne is now working freelance specialising in calculating the nutrient composition of products and recipes for the purposes of mandatory nutrition labelling, whilst also providing impartial advice on food labelling, applying nutrition & health claims and using her practical, evidence based approach to develop nutrition policy. From many years of experience calculating the nutrient composition of recipes for labels, menu boards and magazines and using just your product recipe, Anne can take the hassle out of nutrition labelling compliance whilst providing an inexpensive, confidential and personal service, no matter whether you are start-up or well-established larger business.
