プロフィール概要

I am a fourth-year Dual PhD researcher in Biotechnology under the IIT Delhi–University of Queensland joint doctoral program, specializing in antibacterial drug design and antimicrobial resistance (AMR). My research integrates antimicrobial peptides, nanomaterials, and molecular modelling to design next-generation therapeutic strategies against resistant pathogens. I work at the interface of microbiology, immunology, and nanobiotechnology, combining both experimental and computational approaches. Currently, I am developing Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) and peptide-based nanoformulations for targeted antimicrobial applications. My work involves polymer synthesis, nanoparticle functionalization, peptide cyclisation, purification, and antimicrobial evaluation (MIC assays, microbiological testing). I also work on nanoparticle–peptide conjugation strategies including advanced chemistries for enhanced protease resistance. On the computational side, I perform molecular docking, structural analysis, and binding energy estimations to support rational drug design. I am familiar with tools such as AutoDock and Gaussian for modelling and interaction studies.
