Dr. Ayesha Hakim has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Massey University, New Zealand. She joined the University of Auckland as Research Specialist and then joined the Waikato Institute of Technology (WINTEC) as a Lecturer in Computer Science. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan. She is the academic lead and focal person of a tech startup SMARTRAPS that is an intelligence system for real-time flying insect surveillance. She is also founder of FoodTrace that is a BlockChain based Food Supply Chain Traceability System. She is the IEEE counselor and focal person of NGIRI ignite, ICT academy, blended learning, and LMS management.
