I am a molecular virologist and diagnostic innovator with over 15 years of experience in pathogen surveillance, assay development, and laboratory establishment. My work spans molecular epidemiology, phylogenetics, and translational diagnostics, including a patented early-detection kit and 19 peer-reviewed publications. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led a 90-member diagnostic workforce and oversaw >250,000 clinical tests annually, improving turnaround time by 20% while maintaining 98% accuracy through strengthened QA/QC systems. My doctoral research pioneered molecular surveillance of betanodavirus in India, identifying new hosts, delineating six phylogenetic clades, and demonstrating environmental modulation of disease outcomes — findings with implications for climate-driven pathogen emergence.
