I am a Molecular Biologist with an MSc in Molecular Biology and professional experience in both academic research and biotechnology R&D. For two years, I worked as an R&D Specialist in the molecular diagnostics industry, contributing to COVID-19 diagnostic kit development and validation. During this time, I gained hands-on experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), PCR-based molecular techniques, molecular assay development, and laboratory data analysis. My master’s research focused on the in silico analysis of pathogenic variants in the COL4A3, COL4A4, and COL4A5 genes associated with Alport syndrome. I used multiple bioinformatics tools, including SIFT, PolyPhen-2, PROVEAN, Mutation Assessor, I-Mutant, MUpro, Project HOPE, and GeneMANIA to evaluate variant pathogenicity, protein stability, and structural effects. I provide support in scientific editing, academic proofreading, manuscript preparation, literature review, bioinformatics research, and scientific data interpretation. My goal is to improve the quality, clarity, and scientific presentation of research while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Areas of expertise include molecular biology, genetics, genomics, molecular diagnostics, bioinformatics, scientific writing, and academic editing.
