I worked in academia for 9 years as a tenured faculty member at a university and in industry for ~12 years as a project manager and as a general manager of a global team of ~20 engineers and scientists. I have authored research articles published in journals such as The Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chemistry of Materials, and Journal of Physical Chemistry. I have written successfully funded research grants. I also have experience peer reviewing textbook chapters, research journal articles, and federal research grants. After choosing to leave academia, I joined a global company managing product life cycle projects. I moved on to manage a team of ~20 engineers and scientists whose responsibilities included research, product development, and managing business partnerships. I am now seeking opportunities to work with clients who have a passion for areas including - but not limited to - sustainable energy, energy conservation, environmental conservation, and education.
