I am a PhD-trained Computational Biologist with over 10 years of experience at the intersection of structural biology, protein modeling, and machine learning. My expertise spans from classical molecular modeling and simulation to cutting-edge AI methods for protein design, antibody engineering, and function prediction. My academic and research journey includes roles at top-tier institutions such as the Francis Crick Institute (UK) and Bogazici University (Turkey), where I contributed to projects involving enhanced sampling methods for protein conformational transitions, fusion protein design, and structure-based mutation impact prediction. I have applied AlphaFold2, ProteinMPNN, transformer-based models, and graph neural networks in both academic and translational research contexts. In recent years, I have shifted focus toward AI-driven biologics discovery, developing deep learning pipelines for antibody and peptide optimization, and integrating high-dimensional sequence, structure, and function data. I have also collaborated on a national-scale AI research program in the industry sector, gaining further experience in large-scale model deployment and data engineering.
