I am a native Portuguese. I have a degree in Applied Biology, Masters' in Molecular Genetics, and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences. I have vast laboratory and technical experience, which I have been acquiring since 2012. During all these years, I was also involved in several scientific communications and the writing and submission of national and international scientific proposals with successful funding. Therefore, I have good writing skills, which have been used for the preparation of reports and scientific manuscripts. I have several scientific papers submitted in peer-review international journals. Working in science gives me the opportunity to talk and write every day in English because all the information in the science field is in English. My expertise comes from the field of molecular and cell biology, COVID-19, genetics, colorectal cancer, natural and synthetic chemotherapeutic compounds, cell death (apoptosis/necrosis), malaria, chemical synthesis of antimalarial drugs, leishmania, among others. I see myself as determined, ambitious, and extremely self-demanding. I hold a high sense of initiative, commitment and integrity, who always tries to overcome the proposed challenges.
