Dr. Chitrini Mozumder is a geospatial scientist and consultant with over a decade of experience in remote sensing, GIS, and spatial analytics for land, water, and urban systems. She has led and contributed to projects such as Bhutan’s National Land Use Zoning (NLUZ) program, AI-based crop classification in Thailand’s Tha Chin Basin, and urban growth modeling in coastal India. Her expertise includes spatial analysis, GeoAI, and decision-support systems for policy and planning. Formerly with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), she has delivered international training programs, supervised graduate research, and collaborated with agencies like WWF, ANSO, and ERASMUS+ on geospatial capacity-building. Dr. Mozumder now provides consultancy in GeoAI applications, integrated land-use planning, and curriculum development for sustainable development initiatives.
