I am currently a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota studying modulation of electrical synapses in the retina using electrophysiology and immunohistochemistry techniques. Previously, I worked in a molecular biology lab studying signaling mechanisms in colon cancer as well as a behavioral neuroscience lab researching opioid addiction. Thus, I have editing experience in neuroscience, particularly in retinal neurobiology and addiction, as well as molecular biology in cancer disease models.
