Welcome! I'm a quantitative social scientist with extensive writing, editing, analytical, methodological, and technical skills. In May 2022, I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from UNC Chapel Hill, where I distinguished myself by establishing a strong record of publishing independently in peer-reviewed journals. These articles employed rigorous statistical methods to examine questions related to the death penalty, voting laws, and U.S. state politics. During my time in academia, I mostly worked in R and STATA, but I have experience with SPSS and SAS as well. Having regularly used ordinary least squares regression and various generalized linear models in my own research, I have a deep, practical knowledge of regression analysis. I attribute much of my publishing success to my ability to present a compelling narrative in an articulate, concise manner, and, additionally, I am well-versed in the word processing program LaTeX. As a three-time grant winner, I can also assist with grant writing. Although my subject matter expertise lies in American government and politics, my skills are transferable to a wide variety of projects. I look forward to working with you!
