I’m a quantitative researcher, data scientist, and designer specializing in nonlinear modeling, Generalized Additive Models (GAMs), Bayesian statistics, machine learning, and advanced psychometrics. With over 5 years of experience as a Research Lab Manager and Consultant and over 10 years of experience in graphic design and marketing, I merge data science with design-thinking to create clear, compelling data visualizations, intuitive report layouts, and structured results presentations that drive understanding and impact. Put simply, I love big fancy models and stats--but I love being able to distill the most complex results down to clear and concise language for all to understand. I hold an MS in Quantitative Sciences and a PhD in Educational Psychology (cognate focus: Research Methods & Design), where my research focuses on curvilinear modeling, predictive analytics, and research design across social sciences, education, and public health. As prior Project & Lab Manager of the Research Design Studio (RDS), I have provided consulting on experimental design, mixed-effects modeling, and latent variable approaches to students, faculty, and external clients ranging from R1 universities, public school systems, state legislators, and more. My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at multiple international conferences, invited talks, and professional development sessions.
