Profile Summary As a postdoctoral researcher in molecular biology with training in genetics and physiology, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to cardiac research. My work addresses fundamental questions in heart regeneration, remodeling, and aging processes, building on my longstanding interest in angiogenesis and stem cell biology. Research Experience: During my PhD in physiology, I developed expertise in animal models and systems biology approaches to study cardiovascular function. This foundation now complements my current focus on molecular mechanisms, where I design and execute single-cell multiome experiments and spatial transcriptomics studies to investigate cardiac aging at high resolution. Technical Expertise: Single-cell genomics and multiome analysis Spatial transcriptomics and tissue architecture mapping Bioinformatic analysis of high-dimensional datasets Animal model development for cardiovascular research Primary and stem cell culture techniques Molecular and cellular biology methods My ongoing projects examine the molecular drivers of cardiac aging and regenerative capacity, combining advanced sequencing technologies with traditional physiological readouts.
