For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for writing and a deep interest in all things medical. This has led to a Masters and PhD in Health Psychology, qualifications in Health Science and Nutrition, as well as training in Medical and Health Copywriting. I now operate as a Freelance Medical/Health Writer & Copywriter, delivering high-quality medical communication solutions across diverse content mediums. My services include medical and science-based feature articles and website content, white papers, research summaries, literature reviews, patient educational content, and professional resources. Translating complex medical information into clear and engaging content is my speciality. I have half a decade of experience in research and have been published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals. Additionally, I have experience creating medical/health content for health-based organisations, charities, and publications. As a Medical/Science Journalist, I have also been published in a variety of online and print publications. I have worked in government, charity, and insurance organisations all within the healthcare industry. I have clinical experience (as a registered nurse) in oncology, general surgery, maternity, endoscopy, and melanoma education. I believe my qualifications, training, and experience give me a unique insight into healthcare delivery, wellbeing, and patient care. This insight informs my writing - facilitating connection, conversation, and comprehension with patient, professional, and general audiences alike.
