With a medical experience of more than 15years in the field of Blood Transfusion Medicine and Transfusion Transmitted Infections, healthcare field and several healthcare projects and researches, I believe I am qualified to be considered for this position. I worked for the cause of enhancing the safety of blood and blood products through increasing the number of Voluntary donors in Egypt and ensuring the availability of safe blood and blood products to all those in need. I was lucky to be part of the Egyptian Swiss project for restructuring the blood transfusion services in Egypt since 2003, where I received training on quality performance, quality assurance and quality control. Having earned my Egyptian Fellowship Certificate for Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities Management lately, this enhanced my competency as a manager and a leader in my position. I was in charge of several projects related to healthcare, transfusion medicine and enhancing the safety of blood and blood components. I was able to be an active and effective member and team leader in the Egyptian National Blood Transfusion Services and Ministry of Health. I enjoy working for a cause. I was involved in studies and researches, validating new screening techniques or training personnel to raise the level of awareness against transfusion transmitted infections.
