I am a dedicated Trauma Surgeon and MCh-qualified specialist with over 15 years of experience managing high-acuity surgical emergencies and complex polytrauma. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Trauma at AMCH , Ambala my career is defined by a commitment to time-critical, evidence-based care that spans the Emergency Department, the Operating Room, and the Surgical ICU. I have published around 30 article in pubmed and scopus indexed . I have written 3 book chapters and has reviewed more than 100 articles in various publishing houses including Elsevier. I am currently practising in emergency whereby I am managing around 50 patients per day I have obtain my superspecialisation degree i.e. MCH Trauma Surgery and Critical Care from AIIMS. Core Competencies & Clinical Focus * Polytrauma Management: Expert in the multidisciplinary care of blunt and penetrating trauma, including limb-threatening injuries and complex neck/chest/abdominal trauma. * Advanced Surgical Interventions: Extensive experience in emergency laparotomies, thoracic trauma surgery, vascular repair, and soft tissue coverage. * Emergency Critical Care: Proficient in managing acute surgical conditions such as bowel obstructions, perforated ulcers, and abdominal abscesses. * Specialized Skills: Advanced training in POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) for USG-guided nerve blocks and AO Maxillofacial Trauma management. Leadership & Medical Education * ATLS Instructor: For over 5 years, I have been an ATLS Instructor, dedicated to mentoring the next generation of surgeons. I am proud to have initiated the ATLS course at Adesh Ambala to strengthen regional trauma education. * Disaster Management: Serving as the Nodal Officer for Project BHISHM (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, India)
