Engagements: one hour calls/focus groups, boards, remote projects Dr Manuel Serrano Gil is a Spanish doctor, specialized in General Internal Medicine. He is working 4 hours a day for the Health Public Murcia System (2009-) where he attends a cohort of 2500 patients with chronic diseases in an outpatient clinic, 30-40 patients a day. He works rest of his time as an Independent International Health Consultant mostly for pharma companies (Phase IV clinical trials, New drugs, Expert Pannels, Advisory Boards) and International research/business projects as the DR Barometer Community of Practice (2018-), working online, where he is the Chair and there are 50 institutions from Latinamerica and Europe. Dr Serrano received a training in the US (Clinical Research Training Program 1999-2001) and worked also as Advisor for the Health Innovation Murcia System (2003-2007). His main research focus has been patient engagement in type 2 diabetes, with more than 20 papers after his participation in the Eu-wise 3.2 million euros funded by the European Union. Dr Serrano is used work on remote in project management and is available to travel 11 days a month for International projects.
