I am a proficient, energetic and detail-oriented doctoral-level researcher with expertise in the fields of neuroscience, psychedelic science, mental health, ecological momentary assessment and science communication. I have led 5 successful clinical research investigations, published over 10 peer-reviewed scientific publications, a successful Master of Science dissertation, and several science journalism pieces as a freelance writing consultant for Content Avenue and The Conversation Canada. I have a position on the Psychedelic Science Advisory Committee at Queen's University and a strong foundation in teaching/tutoring colleagues and undergraduate students in academic/grant writing, principles of cellular neuroscience and communication science to the general public. I am also the creator and lead of the podcast series 'Think Twice,' where we break down complex neuroscience topics in the media in a manner that is accessible and digestible to the lay audience.
