My academic background is diverse, mastering both the field of physics and that of engineering.

After spending some years as an engineer and a scientific consultant, involving myself in a lot of physics projects, I chose to specialize in X-ray Science and Accelerator Physics. Furthermore, I have sound experience in research, experimental methods, and lab procedures. I spent my last year carrying out research at a synchrotron facility. The work included both commissioning/ engineering of complex equipment but also unique research and experiments. My project expanded into the field of Nanoscience using X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. My interests lie in Nanoscience, Medical Physics, X-ray and Synchrotron Radiation and Accelerator Physics.
