I'm a young energetic self-motivated and competent person in multiple scientific disciplines. I'm a Specialist in Food Microbiology. In the industry, I'm committed to assure the Safety and the Quality of Foods by controlling food safety hazards and by process improvements. I’ve got the knowledge and practical experience in the Industry along with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO/FSSC 22000 (Food Safety Management System) and ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management System. I'm an industrial expert in designing and establishing Food Microbiological Laboratories and their operations, Microbiological, Chemical, Physical and Sensory testing of Foods as per ISO 17025. I also provide consultation in Control of Food Safety pathogens, Allergens, Pesticides, Genetically Modified Organisms, and Radionuclides. I'm a Certified Assessor (auditor) in Laboratory Quality Management Systems as per ISO 17025. I also have professional memberships in Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST-UK), Global Harmonization Initiative –UN, Society of Quality Assurance –USA, International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association (IFU) and I actively contribute for working groups in Food Microbiology in the aforementioned respective organizations. Being a research oriented person, I have published many science related multidisciplinary researches in highly impacted international journals and I have also presented my research works at international symposia. I also have shared my knowledge as an external advisor in Department of Microbiology, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka and also have worked as external resource person in governmental bodies. Apart from my main career I have also gathered academic knowledge and research experience in Astronomy and Astrophysics as well. I have graduated in Astronomy from International School for Young Astronomers at International Astronomical Union. I have also won an Honorable mention Diploma in Astronomy and Astrophysics at 4th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. I have contributed for some published researches in Astronomy as well. With maintaining a professional profile in multidisciplinary Sciences, I used to write contents in Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, Biology, Molecular biology & Genetics, Life Sciences and Astronomy in scientific papers, journals and web sites.
