I am Co-Founder and Managing Director of Finthropology, a research agency that helps organizations to understand people’s financial behaviour and innovate to meet their needs. We apply our cutting-edge knowledge of human behaviour to help create successful financial products, programs and policies for a human world—and a fast-changing market. We work for financial service providers, universities, government organizations and NGOs. Projects we have done include: * Payment choices in Brazil with a few to the development of CBDCs * Farmers and digital financial services in the Philippines, Laos and Cambodia * Customers' use of BNPL in the USA * Collaboration among credit unions in the USA * Women's use of financial services in Switzerland I hold a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Sydney, Australia (2009). I have published extensively on financial behaviour, including the book "Customer-Centric Innovation in Finance" (2024, Kogan Page) co-authored with Dr. Anette Broløs.
