I am an enthusiastic and passionate scientist with more than 10 years of experience in laboratories working on several research projects, using techniques such as: bacterial cell culture, primary cell cultures, PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, Western blot, sequencing...Aditionally, I have been intensively involved in lecturing, tutoring and supervising undergraduate, MSc and PhD students since 2009, which I enjoyed very much. I have experience in teaching management and development of innovative learning and educational strategies as Module Organiser of Bacterial Infections Module within the Distance Learning “Infectious Diseases” Master program at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. This included the development of new online lessons and improving student engagement by using online forums. During all my career, I have worked in worldwide renowned Universities/Institutions: University of Valencia(Spain), University of Barcelona(Spain), Technical University of Denmark(Denmark), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (London) and Robert-Koch Institute (Germany). Over the course of my scientific career I have gained extensive experience in writing scientific progress reports,grant proposals, peer-reviewed publications (see my CV) and attending international scientific conferences.

I am a very proactive, communicative and organised person. I am fluent in English and Spanish and speak good German (C1).
