I am an economist specialising in competition and regulation issues. I obtained a PhD in industrial organisation from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, after which I worked for 18 years as an external consultant and in-house adviser in the government and corporate sector. I advised international clients in a number of complex cases concerning telecom regulation, competition, and (international) disputes, including mergers, vertical restraints, interchange fees, interest rates on overdraft lending, expropriation of an energy distributor, and natural gas pricing. I have a number of publication in international refereed journals. I am fluent in English, Dutch and Polish.
