A driven scientist with an interdisciplinary background in structural biology and pharmacology. My strengths lie in my enthusiasm for discovery and my tenacity when problem solving. While completing my MSc in pharmacology & toxicology, I developed an interest in the translation of basic science to industrial/commercial applications. This led me to undertake a PhD in structural biology of the immune system to better understand the biology behind diseases such as cancer and learn the foundations of rational drug design to combat them. I have a keen interest in science communication and have won prizes for poster presentations, received awards at the Monash University 3-minute thesis competition and spoken at both local and international conferences.
