I am a Climate Scientist, Ecologist, and Natural Resource Management Specialist with over 15 years of experience in climate science, ecosystem management, environmental policy, renewable energy, carbon markets, and sustainable development. I hold a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Adaptation, an M.Sc. in Climate Science from George Mason University, and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science. My expertise spans climate change mitigation and adaptation, climate modeling, statistical and dynamical downscaling, climate data analysis, renewable energy systems, carbon finance, REDD+ project development, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, environmental policy, and natural resource management. I have extensive experience applying climate models and Earth system science to understand climate variability, future climate projections, ecosystem responses, and adaptation planning. Throughout my career, I have successfully led multidisciplinary teams and managed large-scale environmental and climate programs valued at over USD 100 million. My work has focused on integrating climate science, ecosystem conservation, community resilience, and sustainable development to deliver measurable environmental and socio-economic outcomes. I possess extensive expertise in plant ecology, ecosystem ecology, landscape ecology, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services assessment, forest ecology, ecological restoration, and natural capital valuation. My research has examined ecosystem processes, carbon dynamics, land-use and land-cover change, ecosystem services, climate impacts on ecosystems, and sustainable resource management across diverse ecological landscapes. My carbon market experience includes the development of nature-based carbon sequestration projects, REDD+ initiatives, carbon stock assessments, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems, Project Design Documents (PDDs), and carbon credit validation under internationally recognized standards including Verra (VCS) and Gold Standard. I have also contributed to climate policy development and carbon market regulatory frameworks at the national level. My technical skills include climate modeling, downscaling techniques, geospatial analysis, remote sensing, GIS, environmental statistics, data visualization, machine learning applications, and environmental data management. I am proficient in Python, R, SQL, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, Tableau, and climate data processing tools. My research interests include climate modeling, renewable energy transitions, climate adaptation, carbon accounting, ecosystem services, ecological resilience, biodiversity conservation, land-use change, environmental policy, sustainability science, and nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
