I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, currently working on the isolation, purification, and characterization of exopolysaccharides from cyanobacteria. My research focuses on exploring their biochemical, structural, and functional properties for potential applications in biotechnology and biomedicine. Over the years, I have gained strong expertise in microbial cultivation, biochemical assays, spectroscopy, chromatography, and biomaterial analysis. I also have a solid foundation in scientific writing, literature review, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation, developed through academic publications, thesis work, and collaborative research. I have done B.Sc. Microbiology ( hons.) from Delhi university and then Masters in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University. I bring a combination of academic rigor, attention to detail, and scientific clarity to every project I take up.
