I am Professor of Psychology & Neuroscience with 20+ years experience investigating how the brain learns and processes information. During this time I have: Held Professorial positions at some of the most prestigious universities across the world, including Vanderbilt University (USA), University of Exeter (UK), and Western University (Canada). Received numerous awards including a "Career Award" from the National Science Foundation (USA) and the "Early Career Award" from the 'International Mind, Brain, & Education Society ". Served as Associate Editor for several prestigious scientific journals including "Mind, Brain, & Education" and "Developmental Psychology". Received over $18 million in research funding as either Principal Investigator or Co-investigator. Served as Director of Research and Impact for the Psychology Department at University of Exeter. Consulted on research grant applications for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) Consulted on NIH funded research projects in the areas of behavioural science, cognitive neuroscience, and education.
