Gemeda Terfassa Fida (Ph.D.) is currently young. Forestry Researcher at Oromia Agricultural Research Institute (IQQO)/ATARC, with twelve years of experience working in environmental science and natural resource management and related areas for Oromia Agricultural Research Institute at Adami Tulu Agricultural Research Center. Gemeda specializes in environmental management and sustainability and graduated on April 27, 2024, from the University for Development Studies with the SCHOLARSHIP AWARD from the WEST AFRICAN CENTER FOR WATER, IRRIGATION AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE (WACWISA) in Northern Ghana. Similarly, he obtained his master's degree in forest and nature management on November 03, 2018, from Jimma University in Ethiopia. With the support from the Oromia Agricultural Research Institute. His background was a Bachelor of Science degree in General Forestry that he obtained on July 07, 2011, from Hawassa University in Ethiopia. His role and responsibilities have been finding the best forestry technologies with a focus on agroforestry and applications, including promoting sustainable agriculture, reducing environmental risks, and livelihood options. I am an accomplished researcher and enjoy using my skills to contribute to the exciting technological advances in agroforestry that are taking place around the world every day. My high engagement in the workplace stems from my positive attitude and tireless energy, which I use to inspire others to work hard and achieve success. I am inspired daily by my wife and our daughter. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis and reading the Bible with my family.
