I am a post-doctoral Leverhulme fellow at the University of Nottingham, from where I also received my PhD. My current research focusses on the role of anatomical morphology on cell fate specification in plant root epidermal development. My primary areas of expertise are molecular cloning, developmental biology, plant biology, confocal microscopy and 3D dataset processing. I'm also a part time news writer for the biotechnology science website 'Bionews', giving me expertise in news-style writing on a range of topics for lay audiences. I am a native English speaker and would also be interested in proof-reading.
