I am an Associate Professor in Biomedical Informatics and Medical statistics, Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University. I earned PhD in Biomedical statistics from Alexandria University in 2013. I earned a PG certificate in Health economics from University of York in 2018. Currently, I am enrolled in Diploma degree in Health economics at University of York. I can do the following I have performed statistical analysis for data compiled by medical researchers. I have been training and teaching post graduate students on basic statistics, intermediate statistics (Statistical evaluation of diagnostic tests), regression analysis, and pharmaco-economics. I can do all the following statistical techniques: • Calculate sample size/power • Develop and write statistical analysis plans • Perform complex statistical analyses, for example, o Survival modeling and extrapolation o Multiple linear regression analysis o Logistic regression analysis o Ordinal regression analysis o Use of generalized estimating equations to adjust for the correlations among observations when conducting regression analysis o CART analysis o Random forest o Diagnostic test evaluation statistics o Non-linear regression analysis o Propensity score matching. o Non-linear regression analysis o Imputation of missing data using R and SPSS o Cluster analysis o Meta-analysis, subgroup analysis and meta-regression • Contribute to the interpretation and publication of research results • Independently manage all statistical aspects of a project • Provide statistical advice • Systematic reviews and interpretation of clinical and economic evidence On Health economics, I can do the followings: • Design and execute research studies to estimate the cost of diseases • Design and execute research studies to compare cost and effectiveness among different alternatives. • Provide lectures or educational sessions to educate about health economics • Reviewing published literature and conducting data/information abstraction research to identify, collect, and summarize data for building health economic models. • Conducting economic modeling analyses, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility analyses and cost-benefit analysis. • Conduct threshold analyses • Conducting deterministic sensitivity analysis • Conducting probabilistic sensitivity analysis and individual patient-level simulations less • I have excellent working knowledge of: o SPSS software o Excel o R software o MedCalc software
