プロフィール概要

Giambattista Bufalino is currently working as a Researcher at the Department of Educational Sciences (University of Catania). He received his Ph.D. in Educational Research and Development from the University of Lincoln with a thesis on school leadership and distributed leadership. He has carried out research projects both nationally and internationally (Horizon 2020, Erasmus Plus) in the fields of teacher education and educational leadership. He has been also actively pursuing academic fellowships across Europe throughout his recent career as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Malta (Malta), Aarhus University (Denmark), Tallinn University (Estonia), Comenius University (Slovakia), and at University of Latvia (Latvia). Before moving on to the academic career he held HR management positions in Italy and in Malta in the IT, financial, and non-profit sectors. He serves on the editorial board of international journals and he serves as a reviewer for international and national journals in the field of education.
