My name is Gonçalo Mesquita and I have been a scientific researcher for the past 7 years. Throughout my career, I have worked with different teams across Germany, France and Portugal, and made dozens of scientific communications, ranging from original and review articles to posters and oral presentations. My Master’s degree was in Biomedicine, where I worked with iron and infections, while my PhD focused on basic aspects of molecular and cellular biology, studying pancreatic cancer and ionic channels. Therefore, I have good adaptability and can work with different subjects. I have experience working with younger audiences, as I have participated in several summer camps, as well as presented biology school contents for 4th grade students. I have also worked with a wide range of personalities, so you can trust me to be respectful and diplomatic in all interactions. My main goal is to be the bridge that connects the scientific world to the general audience.
