I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Entomology/Zoology (thesis submitted 2026) at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, with over 21 peer-reviewed publications. My expertise lies in insect molecular biology, bioinsecticides derived from parasitoid wasps, insecticide resistance mechanisms, and in silico CRISPR-Cas9 approaches for sustainable agriculture. Key Research Focus: Bioinsecticidal efficacy of parasitic wasp venom (Aenasius arizonensis) against cotton sucking pests (Phenacoccus solenopsis and others). Temperature-dependent developmental biology and reproductive performance of biocontrol agents. Molecular screening of indigenous Hymenoptera for bioactive peptides. Insecticide resistance in major crop pests (e.g., Chilo partellus, pink bollworm, aphids). DNA barcoding of insect vectors and immunoinformatics/molecular docking. With hands-on experience in insect rearing, bioassays, hemocyte immunity assays, DNA/RNA extraction, qPCR, and bioinformatics tools (NCBI, BLAST, protein modelling), I deliver practical solutions for Integrated Pest Management (IPM), biocontrol strategies, and reducing reliance on chemical insecticides. Achievements: 14 research articles + 5 book chapters + 2 abstracts. First-author publications in reputable journals on parasitoid biology and insecticide efficacy. Contributor to HEC-NRPU funded projects on sustainable pest control.
