I am an immunology and genetics scientist specialising in autoimmune disease mechanisms and immune profiling. I am completing a PhD in Ophthalmology and Visual Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on the immunopathogenesis of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), including T cell biology, cytokine signaling, and immune modulation through selenium and redox biology. I have hands-on experience with animal models, ELISA, blood-based immunoassays, and immune data interpretation, and I have presented my work internationally (ARVO). I also have industry experience in bioscience R&D, contributing to the development and optimisation of genetic and metabolic testing products. I support academic and industry clients with immunology research support, literature reviews, experimental design advice, immune data interpretation, and scientific writing.
